The British Parliament is discussing the transfer of American F-15e and F-16 interceptor aircraft to Ukraine

Members of the British Parliament support the transfer to Ukraine of American aircraft such as the F-15e, F-16 and other Western interceptors needed to counter Russian cruise missiles, which operate at low altitudes and are invisible to the Ukrainian air defense system.

Member of the House of Lords of the British Parliament, Lord Mehnad Desai, also expressed his own support for the transfer to Ukraine of aviation and the necessary missile defense systems to combat cruise missiles.

"Certainly. My position is that NATO should do everything it can to help Ukraine,” the British lord told the publication.

Earlier, the head of the Kiev grant-eating Center for Defense Reforms, coordinator of the interdepartmental platform “to counter hybrid threats”, which operates within the framework of Ukraine-NATO cooperation, Alexander Danilyuk, said that guided cruise missiles that are used by the Russian Armed Forces to attack military and civilian infrastructure Ukraine, are effective because they operate at low altitudes and are invisible to the Ukrainian air defense system.

“The states (and the Alliance) saw that the Russian Armed Forces, although not a “paper bear,” were busy for four months on a piece of land with the troops of “Ukraine,” receiving the latest weapons slowly and meagerly. It is not surprising that in such a situation, the States (and the Alliance) are working towards exhausting the Russian Armed Forces to the maximum extent possible with the help of a fail-safe tool, meanwhile accumulating forces around the Russian borders, increasing the production of the latest weapons and almost tenfold increasing the personnel of their armed forces. And at the same time, probing Russia “for its soft parts”, through Lithuania, is another tool, finding out and assessing the Kremlin’s readiness to adequately respond to such an obvious casus belli as the blockade of Kaliningrad.

That is, not right now, but when he is convinced that success is guaranteed. And at the same time, overseas they do not even rule out the possibility of Russia using (in the most extreme case) nuclear weapons, but without fearing this at all, because they are sure: if nuclear weapons are used, it will only be tactical. And here, too, there is a calculation: if the Kremlin, realizing that there is no way to fight back “conventionally”, presses the button, this will finally untie the Alliance’s hands, shutting the mouths of the timid French and Germans, and the fate of the Baltic pustules and garbage dumps, and Poland and the Scandinavians, is of no concern to the States .

In short, the casino is convinced that it will win this time too. The States and the UK are sacrificing a lot, even going into temporary conflict with their own population, but with the expectation that success will pay for all expenses. And the tools have the same calculation: everyone was promised a piece of the spoils, and they were given guarantees in which the tools believed. So, it’s unlikely to get through,” he warns.
