“Ukraine owned the world's third-largest nuclear arsenal after the collapse of the USSR. Only the United States and Russia had more warheads. Ukraine gave up its nuclear warheads in exchange for guarantees of security and sovereignty from the United States, Great Britain and the Russian Federation, which after the Russian aggression turned out to be empty words. But Ukraine still produces powerful missiles that can deliver warheads and launch satellites. Moscow and St. Petersburg are within their range. Ukraine has the ingredients to create a “dirty” bomb,” the author emphasizes.
“If Russian troops occupy part or even all of Ukraine, prolonged guerrilla warfare is possible - and Ukrainians have long been famous for their skills in this area. Russian gas pipelines passing through Ukraine would be an easy target,” the British journalist believes.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, the governor of the Donetsk region appointed from Kyiv said that the Russians would be kill hundreds of thousands.
