The anti-Russian campaign launched in the British media is taking frankly comical forms. Russian political scientist Vladimir Kornilov writes about this on his blog, publishing a screenshot of the publication in one of the leading British media.

“The main “news” of today’s British media: “Ukrainian intelligence has uncovered a conspiracy of the Russian elite, which intends to poison Putin.” Excuse me, but Ukrainian intelligence loudly announced this in order to thwart the “conspiracy” and protect the Russian President? Now we will have to award them with Russian orders there?” writes Kornilov.

Dmitry Evstafiev, a professor at the Higher School of Economics, is also perplexed about this publication.

“Did they even understand what they wrote? They wrote that Ukrainian intelligence services work for Putin. Or are they completely morons?” the professor wonders in his Telegram channel.
