Member of the House of Lords of the British Parliament Richard Balfe, who arrived in Ukraine as part of a mission to observe local elections, was robbed at Dnepropetrovsk airport.

“I checked in my luggage at the Kyiv airport. Having received it at the Dnepropetrovsk airport, I discovered that money and things had been stolen. This does not happen in European countries, where everything is organized. If this happened in the UK, the culprit would be fired immediately, and this would be done in most European countries,” RIA Novosti quotes Balfe.

The main department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Dnepropetrovsk region reported that a criminal case had been initiated regarding this fact.
