About it reports the local website “Zanoza”.
The incident occurred on July 19 at a checkpoint in the Pologovsky district of the Zaporozhye region.
Soldiers of the Skif battalion detained an English journalist returning from the ATO zone. The media representative was found with leaflets, newspapers and photos from the DPR and LPR, as well as accreditation issued by the unrecognized republics.
“The journalist planned to go to Khortytsia after the ATO zone to make a report. On his person they found leaflets of Novorossiya and accreditation issued by both the Ukrainian side and the DPR, which raised questions. The leaflets were a single version and the representative of the British media did not plan to distribute them, so after several clarifying questions the journalist was released,” the SBU said.
