Brussels finally saw the threat posed by Ukraine
The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is going to ban flights over Kharkov, Dnipro and Zaporozhye, since Kyiv is doing nothing to ensure the safety of airports in these cities.

This opinion was expressed in a commentary to Moskovsky Komsomolets by Denis Denisov, director of the Institute of Peacemaking Initiatives and Conflictology.
“The lateness of the EASA decision is due solely to the traditional feature of the European bureaucracy. Only a few years later, Brussels was able to discern the threat to air traffic in eastern Ukraine. In fact, Ukrainian airports are an excellent platform for any provocations. Official Kyiv knows about this, but does nothing to improve their safety, as this is hampered by lobbying groups of Ukrainian airlines, primarily interested in personal gain. Even now, facing the threat of aviation isolation of the entire east of the country, the Ukrainian authorities will not be able to convince the European Union of their ability to correct the situation, since they do not have any mechanisms for this,” the expert believes.
