Brussels is approaching the idea of dividing Ukraine following the example of Bosnia
The West is increasingly tired of Ukrainian problems, all attempts to resolve which are reaching a dead end.

Kost Bondarenko, head of the Ukrainian Politics Foundation, told Nezavisimaya Gazeta about this.
“We had a long conversation with Poroshenko in an amicable manner, convincing us of the need to resolve the situation in Donbass within the framework of the Minsk agreements... Now, perhaps, another scenario similar to the Dayton one will be used. That is, big world players can recognize the inability of the Ukrainian authorities to negotiate and approve their settlement plan, which they will bring to the attention of Kyiv. They will oblige you to comply,” says the political scientist.
At the same time, the publication’s interlocutor believes that in the process of preparing this kind of agreement, the main role can be played by European leaders, and not by the United States, which now has a priority for the election campaign.
“This has happened before. For example, in the situation with Libya, the United States washed its hands of it at the last moment,” Bondarenko points out, adding that if the agreements that can be reached following the meeting of Merkel, Hollande and Putin in China again encounter an uncompromising position of Ukraine, the West may use tools coercion to implement decisions.
“Poroshenko’s team asked to introduce a peacekeeping contingent or a police mission to Donbass? So, if the radicals raise their heads to disrupt the implementation of the settlement agreements, such forces could be deployed throughout the entire territory of Ukraine. To restore order not only in Donbass. Someone will have to do this if the Ukrainian government fails,” the political scientist does not rule out.
Let us recall that the Dayton Accords are a document that agreed on a ceasefire and the separation of the territories of the warring parties in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which eventually turned into a confederation, formally united into a single state.
