Brussels accused Ukraine of spreading fake news
Ukraine's actions related to the fate of Russian journalist Arkady Babchenko were deliberately staged, which contradicts the principles accepted in Europe for the dissemination of reliable information in the media.
This was stated by Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders, сообщает TASS.
“We do not fight fake news with the help of other fake news,” the head of the Belgian Foreign Ministry commented on the situation around Babchenko.
Let us recall that initially Ukrainian security forces reported that journalist Arkady Babchenko was killed in Kyiv, Ukrainian propaganda immediately blamed Russia for the incident, but after some time the head of the SBU showed journalists Babchenko alive and unharmed and called what was happening a special operation.
