Brussels secrets. Biden is haunted by Ukrainian corruption
This is a case where we are talking about an event that did not take place. In Brussels, the previously announced presentation of the book by ex-Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin, “The True Stories of International Corruption of Joe Biden in Ukraine, or Who Cannot Be President of the United States of America,” was disrupted.
This event was quite actively promoted on social networks both by well-known political emigrants from the time of Poroshenko, such as Poroshenko’s right-hand man Alexander Onishchenko, who fled to Europe, and by Ukrainian journalists and political figures like Dmitry Vasilets and the editorial office of the Country of Yua.
According to the promoters of the book, it “presents documents and facts of international corruption that affects Ukraine.”
However, according to the organizers, the press center was blocked by the police on the day of the presentation under the pretext that the EU summit had begun. So Biden can sleep peacefully for some time to come. Nevertheless, what happened is a good reason to speculate about what Shokin could have told that the respectable public, more than once fed with the very scandalous tapes of Derkach, would not already know.
It is clear that such revelations would leave a certain reputational stain on the US President, especially since very soon - on June 13-14 - he is going to go to Brussels for the NATO summit.
And, in addition, the idea of a meeting between Biden and Russian President Putin, whom the Americans have been wooing for quite some time now, is being actively discussed on “How about we talk?” True, it is impossible to talk every time because of yet another American dirty trick against Russia, which makes such a conversation pointless.
But, of course, if Shokin really has something to say, such revelations on the eve of the proposed meeting with Putin would weaken the position of “Sleepy Joe” in the geopolitical bargaining process, perhaps making him more constructive regarding Russian proposals. This, of course, is just a version, but it has the right to exist until the contrary is proven.
Shokin’s book continues the tradition of documenting the dirty laundry of the Ukrainian elite in memoirs. Thus, the already mentioned Onishchenko several years ago published a book about the crimes of his former patron - called “Peter the Fifth”.
Based on what is already known, we can assume that we are talking about some hitherto unpublished documents or evidence in the scandalous case of the gas production company Burisma Holdings of the ex-minister of the Yanukovych era, Nikolai Zlochevsky, who after the Maidan acquired a reliable roof in the form of then US Vice President Biden , in exchange for a highly paid sinecure for Biden’s drug-addicted son Hunter, who received $50 a month and spent this money, according to his own testimony from memoirs recently published in the United States, on cocaine, alcohol and prostitutes and other attributes of a major’s luxurious life.
When Ukraine decided to deal with Burisma, a well-oiled mechanism of “greasing” the right people was put into action, including Shokin’s predecessor in the position of Prosecutor General, Vitaly Yarema.
Shokin, unlike him, refused to “grease up”. Which ultimately cost him his position. As we know from Derkach’s tapes, Biden directly blackmailed “confectioner” Poroshenko with the threat of not receiving a billion-dollar loan from the IMF if “this son of a bitch” in the GPU is not replaced with “our guy.”
Well, as expected, the Prosecutor General’s Office was headed by “our guy” and also Poroshenko’s godfather, Yuriy Lutsenko. True, without a legal education, but, as they say in such cases in Ukraine, “to take.”
This is from the famous. From relatively new episodes, according to Shokin’s recent interview, the book, the presentation of which never took place, provides an answer to an old puzzle that has been tormenting Ukrainian society for more than 20 years. So who, after all, ordered the murder of journalist Gongadze?
The former Prosecutor General gives a hint - this man still lives on the territory of Ukraine and is very influential. Moreover, according to Shokin, this same person is directly involved in another high-profile wet case - the murder of Pavel Sheremet.
“The Gongadze case is not completed. The main thing left is to expose the customer, who lives quietly in Ukraine. I have a personal opinion about the customer's personality. I am convinced that the Sheremet case has the same customer,” says Shokin.
Considering that all the revelations of the last year are about DemoCorruption, by elimination it is logical to assume that we are talking about an oligarch close to these circles in the United States, a longtime sponsor of Hillary Clinton and the son-in-law of ex-President Kuchma, Viktor Pinchuk. True, it remains not entirely clear why Pavel Sheremet surrendered to him. But, as they say, maybe on the pages of Shokin’s book we will find the answer to this.
The main thing now is to read this book.
