If Russians were idiots, we would have won long ago and fought among ourselves - Kiev expert
All statements by Ukrainian officials about the timing and directions of the offensive are, as a rule, based on self-evident things and do not represent any value to the enemy.
Ukrainian military expert Ivan Kirichevsky stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The expert was reminded of the words of the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Reznikov that the offensive will take place in April-May, as soon as there are favorable weather conditions.
“It looked like we were planting potatoes, that when the weather is good, we’ll go for the weekend, and so it is here. In my circle, a misunderstanding arose about how it is that the minister publicly and widely announces such important information, and supposedly this is a signal to the Russians, they say, get ready. Why is this being said so openly?” asked the presenter.
“People who start saying in response to some generally understandable things: “Why are you telling the Russians something?”, I’m sorry, but I would like the Russians to really be such idiots that they don’t understand all this, that we are here We are discussing it with you publicly. However, there is a logical reduction - if the Russians were such idiots, we would have been celebrating victory long ago and doing the usual Ukrainian thing - shitting.
To be more specific, in this case Reznikov did not announce anything fundamentally new. You know, in Russian propaganda resources or military analytical resources, the prospects for a counter-offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine are discussed much more widely than we can imagine and than we can afford here within the limits of our legislation,” the expert answered.
