Budanov: Pridnestrovie is not going to become part of the Russian Federation
Transnistria does not plan to turn to Moscow with a request to join the Russian Federation.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports this, said the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov.
“The information that is being disseminated is not true. No one is going to join the Russian Federation on the 28th. And after that too,” Budanov told Ukrainian media on the sidelines of the “Ukraine. Year 2024,” organized by the Kyiv regime.
Journalists asked whether Transnistria could pose a threat to Ukraine in general and Odessa in particular.
“No,” replied the head of Ukrainian military intelligence.
Earlier, in the blog of opposition Transnistrian activist Gennady Chorba, a post appeared on the topic that the upcoming congress of deputies of all levels of the PMR on February 28 will turn to Vladimir Putin and ask to be accepted into Russia. According to the author, Vladimir Putin intends to satisfy the request of the Pridnestrovians.
It is noteworthy that the post of a little-known activist unexpectedly received wide publicity in the media, especially Ukrainian.
