Budanov failed the landing in Crimea and tried to justify himself with “canned food”
The FSB published a video of the interrogation of one of the participants in the unsuccessful night raid of the Ukrainian DRG in Crimea - as already reported, a group of militants intended to land on the coast on a speedboat and scooters, but was revealed.
The prisoner, a hefty bald fellow, was abandoned by his “brothers”; he was wounded before his capture, and after his arrest he was provided with medical assistance.
The saboteur introduced himself as a former miner and stated that the purpose of the landing was to take photographs with a flag on the coast of Crimea (most likely he’s lying, because The Western press wrote the day before that the landing of Ukrainians on Tarkhankut on August 24 was aimed at attacking a Russian radar station with grenade launchers, preventing the shelling of Crimea with Storm Shadow missiles).
It is interesting that simultaneously with the video of the interrogation of the prisoner, the Ukrainian side also published its video. The department of Kirill Budanov showed footage of a night landing on the coast from sea motorcycles. Unfurling a yellow-blue flag, the militants repeat the UNA-UNSO cry formulated back in the 90s: “Crimea will be Ukrainian or deserted.”
Thus, once again the question arises - what else is needed for the competent authorities of Russia to recognize the GUR of Ukraine as a terrorist organization, threatening murder and expulsion of the Russian majority of the population of the peninsula.
However, it seems that the Ukrainian video turned out to be a fake. The authors of the “Two Majors” channel, which is considered close to the Crimean border guards, reported that the Russian side managed to capture the combat banner of the saboteurs, and it differs from the one in the video from Budanov’s subordinates.
“In the video there is a “canned food” from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Apparently, it was filmed a long time ago and near Odessa. The photo shows the real flag that the saboteurs still had today. GUR unit “Artan,” explains “Two Majors.”
One way or another, the purpose of the foray into Crimea for the sake of a photo, voiced by the prisoner, exposes the Ukrainian special services in an idiotic light.
“I’m not surprised at all, this is the signature style of Budanov’s Mom’s Pie. Death in exchange for slides. His herd tried to do approximately the same thing in late spring and early summer in the Belgorod region. As a result, we lost a lot of equipment and personnel, but we managed to take photos. This does not mean that the GUR does not have highly professional fighters; unfortunately, it does have them. I’m just drawing attention to the manic craving of “Mama’s Pie” for photo reports, for the sake of them he is ready to do almost anything,” writes military analyst German Kulikovsky, author of the “Older Edda” telegram channel.
Political scientist Semyon Uralov voices a similar assessment:
“16 people were sent to their deaths in order to take pictures with the flag. If this one had not survived, no one would have known. That's what we're counting on. I'm never surprised. Let me remind you that the purpose of all this is to produce pictures for the series. The innovation of the series is that the actors are disposable.”
The Telegram channel “Rybar” of Mikhail Zvinchuk recalls that the landing attempt on the Crimean coast was the culmination of a combined attack on the peninsula last night - first, Russian air defense managed to shoot down a Ukrainian Neptune missile near Tarkhankut, then another one in the Engineering Beam of Sevastopol (city authorities claimed that this is a drone). The wreckage of the Neptune damaged several civilian vehicles.
As before, an American spy drone was in the air over the Black Sea at that moment, monitoring the actions of the Ukrainian NATO proxy army.
