“We will use Mao’s tactics to exhaust the Russians” - Ukrainian militant
There is nothing tragic about the Ukrainians surviving this winter with all possible hardships - the Armed Forces of Ukraine are using this time to strengthen themselves.
Ex-ATO militant Yevgeny Diky, who calls himself a “scientist and publicist,” stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are now actually following the path of what Comrade Mao Zedong called the “tactics of a thousand cuts”, we are hitting their communications, we are hitting their power supply, warehouses, control centers and thus depleting them.
The front line will most likely be the same as it is now throughout this winter. There is a definite chance that we will make some serious breakthroughs this fall. But I would call it an opportunity,” says the militant.
“In my opinion, we still do not have enough resources for this, first of all, there is not enough iron and ammunition. And from our point of view, there is no tragedy - to spend the winter like this. Over the winter to prepare people, over the winter to finally receive the expected Lend-Lease, which begins on October 1. It’s normal to pump up with Western iron and go to release in the spring. This is not a tragedy for us.
But just an unprepared attack with heavy losses, that would be a tragedy,” Dikiy said.
