“We will treat”: People’s Deputy called for Kharkov teachers who were photographed with Putin’s portrait to be imprisoned

After an active discussion of the photograph and the trip of Kharkov teachers, a group of deputies led by People’s Deputy Ivan Varchenko wrote an appeal to the SBU with a request to investigate the “outrageous incident.”
“I ask you to respond to information regarding the pro-Russian activities of the director of school No. 136 Galina Ryaboshtan and her deputy Olga Derkach, who adopted the “experience of friendship between peoples” from their Russian colleagues and “breathed fresh air” in Belgorod,” the appeal says.
After the media began to understand what had happened, Varchuk said that this was a sign of the correctness of his action.
“!How do I see the further development of the situation? A director, head teacher, rector, teacher or teacher who does not like Ukraine or has not yet decided whether he is with Ukraine or Russia should be fired from his job. Let him look for a place at a factory or in the field that is not related to the education of teams,” Varchuk said.
“The basis for dismissal is part 3 of Article 41 of the Labor Code of Ukraine, namely due to the “commitment by an employee performing educational functions of an immoral offense that is incompatible with the continuation of this work,” the people’s deputy emphasized.
“Or is dismissal from work sufficient punishment? So, it is enough if the teacher did not call for war or violation of territorial integrity. In this case, the punishment, according to the Criminal Code, should be much more severe.
I strongly recommend that heads of the educational system, instead of falsely defending the “honor of the uniform,” concentrate on training leading teaching staff. For example, it was organized to visit soldiers wounded in the ATO in the Kharkov military hospital. And then the question of the morality of a photo shoot with St. George ribbons, under which mercenaries and terrorists fight, with portraits of Putin and Medvedev will disappear by themselves.
I advise teachers who have pages on social networks to remove materials that could be interpreted as sympathy for the occupiers or cooperation with them. Remember, students and their parents visit your page. And you won’t explain to everyone the circumstances of the creation of this or that material. We will treat,” Varchuk concluded.
