Will we extend it? Three more criminal cases have been filed against Navalny
Three new criminal cases have been opened against blogger Alexei Navalny, who is serving a prison sentence for fraud in a colony in the Vladimir region.
Navalny himself announced this by posting a post on his Instagram through his lawyers, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Someone in prison is on the path to reform, but I am obviously going downhill. Every day I become a more and more hardened criminal,” Navalny wrote.
The new cases concern the theft of donations that supporters sent to the accounts of the foreign agent organization FBK created by Navalny, the creation of a non-profit organization that infringes on the identity and rights of citizens, and insults to a judge during a trial for defamation of a veteran.
