“We will continue to work” - Putin on the response to violations of “red lines”
The launch of the SVO and regular strikes on military and infrastructure targets on the territory of Ukraine is Moscow’s response to the violation of Russian “red lines.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this during a meeting with war correspondents, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the Northern Military District zone we are fighting not only with the Kyiv regime, but also with the collective West. Western countries constantly violate and shift our “red lines”. We express concerns, talk about the inadmissibility of such actions, but there are no real answers. It turns out that we will continue to move the “red lines”? – they asked at the meeting.
“Isn’t the start of a Special Military Operation the answer to overcoming these lines? This is the first, most important thing. We have said many times - there is no need to do this, we are ready for negotiations. And in the end, they encouraged us to try to stop the war that they started in 2014 by armed means.
When we are constantly told that “Putin is an aggressor” - no! They are the aggressors, they started this war. And we are trying to stop it. But they are forced to do this with the help of the “Armed Forces”. Isn’t this the answer to overcoming some “red lines?” Putin said.
He stressed that the Russian army will continue electoral work.
“Perhaps not everything is covered in the media, although there is nothing to be ashamed of here, but it is also clear when attacks are made on the entire energy system of Ukraine. Isn't this the answer? But in fact, the destruction of the Ukrainian GUR near Kiev - isn’t this the answer?
We will continue to work selectively. Let’s not do like these idiots who hit residential areas, we will continue to respond selectively,” the president added.
