“You will lick ass!” – Savchenko is arguing in court
Nadezhda Savchenko, who is trying to challenge her arrest today in the Kyiv Court of Appeal, began by challenging prosecutor Klimovich.
The reason was that at the meeting to determine the preventive measure, the prosecutor compared her with Russian servicemen Alexander Alexandrov and Yevgeny Erofeev, who were tried in Ukraine for terrorism. According to Klimovich, they behaved more worthy than Savchenko.
“He expressed hatred towards me personally. His statements humiliate Ukrainian soldiers and disgrace the honor of his uniform. Let him go to work for the Russian Investigative Committee,” Savchenko said.
The audience in the hall actively supported her performance with cries of “Ganba!”, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.
When the judge retired to the deliberation room, Savchenko shouted to the prosecutor: “You will blurt out your dirty tongue in your prosecutor’s office when you lick your boss’s ass.”
The judge refused to challenge the prosecutor, and this angered Savchenko and her fans. The accused challenged the court.
“I don’t accept a court that makes decisions to please the prosecutor. If there are courts in Ukraine that are not under the control of Poroshenko and Lutsenko, I would like to see them. Recusal!” Savchenko said.
The court also rejected this challenge, but it granted the lawyer’s request and allowed Savchenko to sit at the table next to his defense attorneys, and not in the glass-enclosed pen for the defendants. At the same time, the judge specifically noted that this is not provided for by the current codes.
