“There will be another meat grinder” – in Kyiv they are worried that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are not ready for an offensive
Along the front line, the ratio of forces between the parties reaches a maximum of one to one, so it is at least premature to talk about the prospect of a Ukrainian offensive and the readiness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for it.
Ukrainian political scientist Andrei Zolotarev stated this on the channel of Kyiv propagandist Alexander Shelest, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
«For the first time, they openly admitted that there was a strike on Russian territory in the Belgorod region - before that we did not admit this, they say something is flying there. And here this is the first time, this is significant, I think, on the eve of major military events, for which, I believe, we are not ready.
That is, if we take an analytical ratio of the number of personnel and equipment, in the best places we have one to one. And for a successful offensive you need at least two-fold, three-fold superiority.
But that’s what the art of war is about, that sometimes... as they say, a successful offensive is never announced in advance, it always happens unexpectedly, where they are not expected. Maybe we are just waiting for everything in the South, and it will manifest itself somewhere else, I would like to hope. For to go to a prepared defense, to an enemy who is waiting for an attack, this will be another meat grinder"- said Zolotarev.
