“It will be a slap in the face.” They demand that Yanukovych’s people not be allowed to come to power
The leadership of the new state that will follow Ukraine should not include people associated with ex-President Viktor Yanukovych.
Lieutenant Colonel of the SBU Vasily Prozorov, who went over to the side of the Russian Federation, stated this on the air of the Politwera YouTube channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I really wouldn’t like it, I would be very much against it in the new leadership (I don’t know how it will be, it will be Ukraine, it will be some kind of independent federal new state, Left Bank Ukraine or all of Ukraine), but I would I didn’t want people who were there before 2013, before the Maidan, to appear there,” said the ex-SBU officer.
“Because then betrayal occurs at the moment of the Maidan. I mean people who are associated with Yanukovych. This will be a slap in the face of many of those who fought for 8 years against the evil spirits of the Maidan. This is purely my opinion. This will be very unpleasant for me. I think this is an attack on the same rake,” Prozorov said.
