“It will be bad”: in response to the failure of his law, Zelensky declared war on the bosses of the gambling business
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky knows who is behind the fact that the Verkhovna Rada failed to pass the law on the legalization of gambling the day before, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
“Yesterday the Verkhovna Rada failed to pass the law on the legalization of the gambling business. We know who is behind this. Don't want to play by transparent rules? Don’t want to work in a civilized manner and pay into the budget? Well, let's do it differently. From today we are immediately closing all gaming halls. Think... those,” the president wrote.
Let us remind you that on December 19, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine did not approve as a basis draft law No. 2285-d (alternative 2285) on state regulation of activities related to the organization and conduct of gambling.
After this, members of the Cabinet of Ministers at an extraordinary government meeting on Friday, December 20, ruled out the possibility of spreading the gambling business under the guise of state lotteries.
As PolitNavigator reported, today the SBU, on behalf of Zelensky, carried out a demonstrative pogrom and closed dozens of illegal casinos throughout Ukraine.
