“It will be signed instantly at any moment,” Korotchenko about Putin’s decision on Donbass
Today's appeal from the State Duma on the need to recognize the LDPR will be used as an important factor of pressure on Kyiv and the West - now they will realize that the Kremlin can make an instant decision on Donbass at any moment.
The chief editor of the National Defense magazine, Igor Korotchenko, stated this in a comment to PolitNavigator.
“It would be good if this resolution was submitted to Putin for signature, and Putin took a pause so that at any moment when it would be expedient from a political and military point of view, he could literally sign this decision instantly. It seems to me that this would be the best option now.
We don’t need to make any hints to Kyiv here – we need to pursue a tough policy of protecting Russia’s national interests. We don’t need hints, we don’t need to play to the public, we don’t need to think about who will say what - we need to do what is rational and necessary for Russia at a particular moment in time.
It has already been said that we are implementing our policy, despite threats and sanctions, therefore, by and large, Russia is self-sufficient in making these important decisions,” Korotchenko said.
Thank you!
