“There will be a breakthrough”: the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has already begun - GRU Colonel
Ukrainian troops began the promised large-scale offensive with reconnaissance in force along the entire front, which should reveal a weak point in Russian defenses.
Retired GRU Colonel, Candidate of Military Sciences Vladimir Kvachkov said this on air on the Roy TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Ukrainian counter-offensive has already begun. It began with strategic reconnaissance in force, as they did in the steppes near Kherson - they look for a weak point, instantly gather forces, rush into a breakthrough, and disperse.
Because it is impossible to keep troops and equipment in one place for a long time, with available intelligence resources, at least from the Ukrainian side. Therefore, [the offensive] can begin at any time - they will find a weak point, gather and lead into a breakthrough the reserves that they have been preparing for six months,” he said.
“Or it may not work out. With current military control technologies, it is impossible to predict where a breakthrough will occur. The enemy is now looking for a weak spot in our defense, where they can break in and lead the reserves that they have been preparing for a long time,” Kvachkov added.
