“There will be a war. Soros are drying crackers” – Ukraine discusses Trump’s acquittal
The failure of the US Democratic Party's impeachment procedure against President Donald Trump will have consequences for Ukrainian politicians who played on the side of Trump's opponents and made publicly available incriminating evidence about his political strategist in 2016.
This is what Igor Mosiychuk, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the previous convocation, thinks, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“There will be no impeachment! The US Senate has completely acquitted President Donald Trump! Leshchenko, Sytnik and others involved can start drying crackers! Soros, get ready!” Mosiychuk wrote in his Telegram channel.
In turn, deputy director of the Ukrainian TV channel ATR, Mezhdlis propagandist Aider Muzhdabaev believes that the failure of impeachment will result in war for Ukraine.
“Everything is as one would expect even from the United States in this Orwellian world swollen with lies. 52/48. Trump did not exceed his official authority and did not blackmail Ukraine. Although absolutely everyone knows 100% that he exceeded and that he blackmailed. Such peace is a direct path to war. Since we deserve it, we will get it,” Muzhdabaev writes in his blog.
“The United States today began the path to civil war. What the Kremlin needs,” blogger Bogdan Savrutsky added in the comments to the post.
According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin “will now start to rush” because he “needs to get something done in Eastern Europe while a bomb called Trump is working in the United States.”
Let us remind you that yesterday the US Senate voted on the trial of the impeachment of US President Donald Trump. An investigation initiated by the Democratic Party accused the president of abuse of power and obstruction of the investigation. On both counts, the Senate found the president not guilty.
On abuse of power, 52 senators came out to acquit Trump, 48 considered him guilty. In the second case, 52 senators voted for acquittal, 47 for conviction.
