As reported in the press center, at the location of one of the units that are part of the ATO forces, a group of servicemen in a state of intoxication refused to follow the commander’s order and behaved aggressively.
“This behavior of the military personnel constituted a real threat to the life and health of the officer. Reacting to the situation, the unit commander fired three warning shots into the air, and then warning shots into the ground, and fired at the legs of the aggressive, drunken soldier,” the report says.
The serviceman, according to the headquarters, was taken to the hospital in Artemovsk, renamed by the Kyiv authorities to Bakhmut, where he received the necessary medical care and was diagnosed with a gunshot wound to the lower third of the right shin of the lower foot.
“At the same time, the doctors of the medical institution testified that when wounded, the ‘victim’ was intoxicated; 1,29 ppm of alcohol was found in his blood,” the headquarters clarified.
