Sevastopol, September 26 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Kononov) – There is already a fairly serious market for mobile and web development in Crimea. This should become, he believes, the basis for the next generation of Internet businesses in the region.

This is what Sergei Plugotarenko, director of the Russian Association of Electronic Communications, thinks.

“We see our task as ensuring that any business uses the Internet, so it is absolutely obvious to us that the e-commerce segment needs to be developed in Crimea. In Russia, over the past two years, there have been quite fundamental changes in how to use the Internet,” he said at the RIF-Crimea Internet forum in Yalta.

“Of course, we need to develop new clusters, perhaps based on the existing development. A little further, we, in a sense, believe that the entire Russian Internet industry can take advantage of the situation that has developed in Crimea and create such a powerful center that in the future will work for the entire economy,” argues Plugotarenko.
