There will be explosions and poisonings - the ex-Minister of Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine warned about the consequences of a blackout
The lack of a stable supply of electricity will result in new tragedies for Ukrainians - they are not given instructions on how to properly use gas cylinders and generators. The result is mass poisoning, explosions and fires, and this trend will only increase.
Ex-Minister of Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Aleksey Kucherenko stated this on the Internet channel “Yes it is,” as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Now a stream has poured into the apartments of high-rise buildings - diesel generators, gas cylinders. This is a separate problem, it is yet to come. At least, I don’t see any well-thought-out policy so that people are at least instructed. This is not a simple thing, it is very explosive, you know? It can explode, this is carbon monoxide fumes, this is potential death, explosions.
Therefore, it is very necessary to use it carefully. I understand that it is impossible to ban, but this problem will now be a new one - every day there are more and more new cases... I have already seen these poisonings, there is a hairdresser right next to my office - they took it, came up with it, and put a generator in the room to work. It’s clear, two hours - and they’re already carrying out the hairdresser, a young girl in an ambulance,” said Kucherenko.
