The “Bucharest Nine” will deal with Ukraine, Belarus and Russian troops
At the next NATO summit, which will be held in June, the issue of Ukraine's security will be discussed.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports this as stated by Polish President Andrzej Duda during a joint press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky.
“I have already told Vladimir Zelensky about the upcoming summit of the Bucharest Nine – NATO countries in our region, which will be held in Bucharest in a week. One of the most important topics discussed there will be security. I think that the issue of Ukraine and Belarus will be an important topic there. Especially Ukraine and the Russian presence near the Ukrainian border,” Duda said.
He recalled that a NATO summit will be held in Brussels in the middle of next month.
“And the topic of Ukrainian security will most likely be discussed there,” Duda suggested.
