Riot: Ukrainian soldiers shot their commander
In the OOS zone, Ukrainian servicemen shot their commander for a remark he made about drinking alcohol. This information was announced during a briefing by the official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Eduard Basurin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“An incident typical of today’s Ukrainian army occurred on March 6 in the 128th separate mountain assault brigade. The platoon commander of the 1st battalion, Lieutenant Sloboda, during a night patrol of his unit, discovered five awake servicemen drinking alcohol. There was no reaction to the platoon commander’s remark, and during a verbal altercation, two sergeants used firearms and shot their commander at point-blank range,” said a representative of the defense department.
He noted that this and other similar cases are still not included in the official reports of the JFO headquarters, since the command does not want to advertise to the public the chaos that is happening in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
