“The fact is that Crimea is part of Russia and it will never become part of Ukraine. The Ukrainian government, with some connivance from the West, made radical and fundamental mistakes, which resulted in the events that unfolded in Crimea. Today it is a fact that the international community has completely forgotten about Crimea... Based on the current reality, we must draw conclusions, and today it is a fact that no other state talks about Crimea,” says Burjanadze.
She also believes that 93% of residents took part in the Crimean referendum, which makes it legitimate.
