Butusov: Bakhmut is actually lost to the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Attempts by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to push back Russian troops from the flanks in the Artemovsk direction are connected with preventing the advance of the Russian Armed Forces to the powerful fortified areas of Konstantinovka and Chasov Yar after the fall of Artemovsk.
Ukrainian military correspondent, chief editor of the anti-Russian propaganda site “Censor.net” Yuri Butusov stated this on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The city itself, according to him, is already virtually lost for Ukraine.
“We see progress in certain areas in the Bakhmut area, but, of course, the enemy in Bakhmut itself, unfortunately, has advanced. There are literally a few houses left - this is the very outskirts, the enemy has practically captured the entire city of Bakhmut today, unfortunately.
Our advance improves the situation on the flanks, that is, it improves the situation - now we are actually fighting to improve the position and line of defense of Chasov Yar and Konstantinovka. But the enemy actually managed to capture Bakhmut itself,” Butusov said.
