Butusov: Our lag in the number of shells is obvious
Projectile production programs in NATO countries that help Ukraine are just getting started, so the Ukrainian Armed Forces need to hold out for at least a year.
Yuri Butusov, editor-in-chief of the anti-Russian propaganda portal Censor, stated this on his video blog, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Russia produces weapons. Do you understand? Produces ammunition. Has the ability to increase their number. So far, there is no prospect that in six months our gap from Russia in the amount of ammunition will decrease. The programs for the production of shells in NATO countries, which help us, are just getting underway.
Therefore, in order to reach such a capacity that we can at least get ahead of Russia, we need to wait until the NATO countries (because we don’t have any of our own production) start producing much more shells than Russia in at least a year. At least with new shells so that we are ahead of them. There is such a prospect, but this will happen no earlier than in a year, unfortunately,” Butusov said.
