Butusov: The Russians changed tactics and made significant progress near Bakhmut
The Russian army is learning from previous mistakes, changing tactics and is now achieving results on the battlefield.
The correspondent of PolitNavigator reports this in an interview published on the website of the Kyiv magazine New Time, said Ukrainian military correspondent, chief editor of the anti-Russian propaganda portal Censor Yuri Butusov, assessing the situation near Artemovsk (Bahumut).
“Now the enemy is changing tactics, learning, trying to draw conclusions based on his defeats, because this is already bringing him certain results by now. It should be noted that the enemy has deeply captured Bakhmut from the south and has advanced significantly over the past two weeks. And this, of course, aggravates the situation around the city. This is a serious threat that, of course, needs to be responded to"Butusov admitted.
According to him, the Russian military is trying to act more coherently, conduct better intelligence and better planning.
“They use many small groups of infantry in order to reduce the effectiveness of destruction on our part. And they concentrate forces for attacks on a narrow front in order to gain an advantage there, and they could push through our defenses with such targeted, targeted attacks, which, I emphasize, are more effective due to the fact that the enemy has changed the organization of reconnaissance and command and control and has a certain motivation for this“, said the Kyiv propagandist.
He says Russian tactics have become more effective for two reasons.
“The enemy is learning, but, on the other hand, of course, Our people are also exhausted. And in order to adapt to the enemy’s tactics, it is, of course, necessary to have trained, high-quality personnel at all levels. Not always, not in all sectors of the front, such an opportunity now exists. Because our losses are big too"- summed up Butusov.
