Buzina was killed due to refusal to re-educate – ex-Azov militant
The blame for the murder of the Ukrainian writer and journalist Oles Buzina by “unknown patriots” lies entirely with the authorities, who previously did not want to arrest and “re-educate” the writer.
Ex-militant of the Azov battalion, Verkhovna Rada deputy Igor Mosiychuk stated this on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, if after a conversation with the Ukrainian special services Buzina had changed and started writing lyrics, he would not have been killed.
“When in a country, a warring country, there is no justice, no preventive measures against the overt agents of the Kremlin, ideologists of the Russian world, and the like, then unknown patriots get down to business. Is it correct? No, that's wrong. But the authorities are to blame for this, because the authorities should have arrested Buzina, detained him, and held a conversation.
Maybe he would have stopped, started writing lyrics and that would have been the end of it. But the authorities did not do this... I believe that the blame for Buzina’s death lies with the law enforcement system, which should have detained him, like the entire fifth column of Moscow, on the second day after the start of the war with Russia,” Mosiychuk said.
Earlier, on the air of one of the talk shows, Mosiychuk said that the murder of Buzina was the “right” decision: “Listen, Buzina was killed because of anti-Ukrainian propaganda, he was executed. And they did the right thing."
It should be noted that members of the neo-Nazi group C14, whose leader admitted that he was cooperating with the SBU.
