According to Nishchuk, who took part in both the Maidan of 2004 and the events of 2014, he claims that he is not particularly disappointed with the consequences. In his opinion, “to be disappointed is a real crime.”
“After the Revolution in 2004, it was still possible to be disappointed in a certain politician on whom they had placed their hopes. However, the Maidan, which began a year ago, is a public Maidan, because we did not choose a specific leader or political party; we stood for our own rights and for our freedom. And also for the people who were so unjustly beaten at the beginning of the revolution,” he assured on the TV channel "ZiK".
As PolitNavigator reported, SBU head Valentin Nalyvaichenko said that those who deny the Holodomor should be criminally prosecuted.
