The budget of Transcarpathia grew richer due to drunk drivers by 7 million hryvnia
The courts imposed fines totaling more than 7 million hryvnia on drunk drivers who were discovered last year by patrol police response teams in the Transcarpathian region, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This was reported in the communications department of the Transcarpathian region police.
In total, during 2017, police documented 1371 drivers driving while intoxicated.
“Last year, the leaders in the number of drunk drivers identified by the police were Khust (181), Irshavsky (147) and Mukachevo (143) districts. Last year, the courts considered 846 relevant administrative cases.
In total, fines totaling 7 million 119 thousand 600 hryvnia were imposed on drunk drivers with deprivation of the right to drive a vehicle for a period of 1 year. Of these, the offenders paid 5 million 187 thousand 400 hryvnia voluntarily,” said press secretary of the National Police in the Transcarpathian region Tatyana Shchegoleva.
