A bust of Lenin in a school in Ivano-Frankivsk alarmed Bandera’s supporters
In Ivano-Frankivsk, local nationalists discovered a “secret cache” containing a bust of Vladimir Lenin.
It was kept in the back room of one of the local schools, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to TV channel 402, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Among other rubbish, a bust of Lenin was discovered by the director of the local Bandera Museum, Yaroslav Koretchuk, who took it for exhibition.
“Among the various rubbish that has accumulated there in the educational institution - these are the remains of some tables, desks, and other things - among this rubbish I noticed that there was such a bust and decided to take it away so that it would not be preserved in the educational institution. We often hold various exhibitions where we demonstrate both the totalitarian regime and the repression of the totalitarian regime. Of course, this will be a good addition so that we can first of all understand this flywheel of repression,” Koretchuk said.
