Poroshenko's former associates want the president's impeachment
Former comrades are demanding that Poroshenko adopt laws on impeachment, a referendum and the lifting of parliamentary immunity. Former member of the BPP faction, deputy Viktor Chumak, stated this from the rostrum of the Rada.

According to him, in the 2,5 years since the election of the president and the two years of the current convocation of the Rada, the president and his political forces have not fulfilled their election promises.
Chumak read from the podium an appeal to the president signed by 22 people's deputies.
“We ask you, dear Petr Alekseevich, to exercise your right as President of Ukraine and identify as most urgent for consideration at the 6th session of the Verkhovna Rada of the 8th convocation such bills as those that fully implement the promises made by you and your political force. The first is a draft law on the election of people's deputies, a draft law on a special temporary investigative commission of the Verkhovna Rada to investigate the case of removing the president from office through impeachment, a draft law on amending the Constitution of Ukraine regarding the immunity of people's deputies and judges, a draft law on an all-Ukrainian referendum "- said Chumak.
