According to him, they will meet with the former head of the Trump campaign, Paul Manafort, who previously collaborated with the Party of Regions. Representatives of the Opposition Bloc, according to Karasev, have a better chance of building good relations with the new administration than the current Ukrainian government.
“All the leaders of the Opposition Bloc went.” Do you think they won't meet Manafort there? We'll meet. Will Manafort tell them something? He'll tell you. Will it show something? He will show you. This is politics, and the government is looking for contacts with the Trump team, and so is the opposition. I think it’s more effective through Manafort,” Karasev said.
