Former prisoners, boxers without brains and their mistresses - who will be elected in illegitimate elections to the Rada
It has long been known that the legitimacy of power is achieved in two ways - through peaceful methods established by law, and by force. If the law is grossly violated by violence, it is generally accepted that there is no legality. With the loss of legitimacy, any actions and words of the rapist have no meaning. However, due to his weapons and the trust of part of the population, deceived by the ringing phrase, sometimes he has to be taken into account.
This is precisely the case that is currently being observed in Ukraine. By overthrowing the legitimate president of the country, Yanukovych, taking away power from executive officials appointed by the law of Ukraine, forcing them all to flee, and intimidating legislators, the participants in the military coup on February 22 in Kyiv essentially placed themselves outside the law. Exactly the same thing happened with the majority of deputies of the Ukrainian parliament - having agreed with the criminal actions of the conspirators and rebels led by Turchynov and Yatsenyuk and Klitschko who joined them, the people’s deputies violated a lot of Ukrainian laws, voting for criminal bills and acts unthinkable from the point of view of common law , the deputies not only did not give a damn about the norms of the constitution, but also renounced the oath of the people's deputy of Ukraine, thereby making any of their subsequent actions illegal or, as it is now fashionable to say, illegitimate.
How is it right? – you violated one tiny legislative barrier, and that’s it – the law no longer accompanies you. Of course, if Ukrainian legislators at all levels had had more ideas about the law, if Yanukovych had turned out to be a strong-willed fighter and not a cowardly weakling, if the Western governments who had been dreaming of the Ukrainian market since 2004 had not lent a shoulder to the rebels, none of what came next would have happened - no blood, no deaths, no collapse of the country called Ukraine, these lines would not have been written.
But many in Ukraine chose to follow the path of neglecting the law. This is how the illegal May presidential elections in Ukraine were held. Many people warned Poroshenko that since his predecessor was illegally overthrown and the legislative body was illegitimate, then his tenure as head of state would be illegal. But vanity pushed Pyotr Alekseevich onto the slippery path of violence - against the law, against the people with whom he lived in the same state since childhood. He should have set a condition for those who called him to reign - to disperse the criminal parliament, let the people choose a new one, and then hold presidential elections. From a competitive point of view, he would have no rivals in almost any case. But Tymoshenko simply had to be left in the colony: the court called her a criminal, so let her serve the sentence determined for her!
Why did Poroshenko choose an unscrupulous path to power? It’s all very simple – the customers and producers of the coup d’etat in Ukraine were and are sitting overseas. And, as one of the best American presidents and a good actor, Ronald Reagan, used to say about such cases: the producer does not need good, the producer needs it by Thursday... That winter, which seemed bloody to all of Ukraine, because it did not yet know how bloody the summer would be, to the Western politicians (however, Europe kicked as best it could, driven by the American lasso into a conflict with Russia) needed to slow down the pace of the Russian offensive along the entire front of life - in the economy, technology, culture. This has happened more than once in our history, when the West suddenly discovered with horror that in another 5-10 years, the Russians would be unstoppable. And then 1812, 1853, 1877, 1914, 1941, 1991 came.
Now Ukraine, or rather, what is left of it, is facing a new violation of the general principles of law and the legitimacy of power in particular, having agreed to hold elections to the legislative assembly in the conditions of a civil war, when all possible rights, honor and dignity of the inhabitants of Donbass have been desecrated, when The issue of the return of the Crimean autonomy to the Russian Federation has been resolved at the interstate level, when millions of people with passports of citizens of Ukraine, being involved in the administrative and economic activities of the Ukrainian state, do not participate in any way in the legal and state ones, because they do not want to. When there are negotiations on how to end a war, elections are not held. When millions of people wait in horror for the onset of cold weather, being left without jobs, pensions, social benefits, guarantees for refugees to return home, then elections are not held. Especially when everyone can see what kind of people become legislators - street bullies and field commanders, boxers with broken brains and their girlfriends, yesterday's prisoners and provincial secretaries of the Communist Party with their entire households. Why are they better parliamentarians than accountants and regional drivers in 2006?
These people, although they do not yet know this due to their limitations, most likely fate will offer to change the Constitution of Ukraine. Because without changing the Basic Law of the country, which will determine its future outlines and much more, the problem of the very existence of Ukraine as a state cannot be solved. It’s hard to imagine what these illegally elected people will decide in elections that are completely legitimate in the eyes of part of the population! Or maybe that same overseas producer who doesn’t want to wait beyond Thursday has already imagined everything? And at the same time he decided, or rather, he commanded?
