A former Interpol official doubted the continued existence of Ukraine
Ukraine faces the threat of losing its statehood. The former head of the Ukrainian bureau of Interpol, Kirill Kulikov, stated this on the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Kulikov, the country may cease to exist within its current borders, and one of the main problems is the outflow of the population.
“The problem today is tough, there is the question of the existence of the state of Ukraine itself, as such, within its current borders. Maybe there will be some kind of Ukraine, but if everything happens like this...,” the politician said.
“The problem is that people do not see any prospects in this country today. Not only do we have a demographic failure, it is also associated with a migration failure. Look, Russia is also a demographic failure, a colossal failure. But what did Russia start doing? Russia began to simply select our citizens. Therefore, she doesn’t really need our territories, she needs people,” Kulikov said.
