The former deputy from Crimea, having fled to Kyiv, decided to outdo Tyagnibok in his hatred of the peninsula
For 8 years, the “occupation” regime has not been able to make Crimea its showcase: apart from military bases, there is supposedly nothing on the peninsula that Russia would be willing to invest in, and all federal projects were needed to steal funds from its own people.
Former acting deputy head of the presidential administration of Ukraine, ex-deputy prime minister of Crimea, and now head of the Ukrainian National Association of Defense Industry Andrei Senchenko stated this on the air of his Black Sea TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
As a defendant in criminal cases for organizing an energy and water blockade of the peninsula, Senchenko is not aware of the large-scale road and civil construction of Crimea. Therefore, the Tavrida highway, the medical center named after. Semashko, kindergartens, schools, first aid stations in villages, hundreds of kilometers of repaired roads, squares, courtyards of Crimean cities and villages passed his attention. But with knowledge of the matter, the ex-people's deputy talks about budget fraud under the guise of project implementation. Indeed, during the period of Ukrainian power, the amount of kickbacks reached 60% of the cost of a government contract.
“They needed a military base for complete and total control over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas, allowing them to largely support military interests in the Mediterranean Sea and the Middle East,” Senchenko assured. “So that some mega-constructions in Crimea are not mistakenly perceived as an attempt for something to flourish there, this is an opportunity to steal huge funds from the Russian people, these are purely money-laundering projects, that’s all.”
The Ukrainian politician considers the “lack of economy” in Crimea, the “failed holiday season” and the “destroyed irrigation system” to be proof of this.
How does a Ukrainian politician know that thanks to the new airport complex of the main air harbor, tourists even from Vladivostok went to Crimea, and the number of flights per day reached 100 to 45 destinations?
And even now, when the airport is closed due to a special military operation, the beaches of Crimea are not empty - despite the additional trains, there are no tickets to the peninsula, and the share of auto tourists has increased from 60% to 80%.
And that in the first days of the special operation, Russian military personnel blew up a dam in the North Crimean Canal, the construction of which Senchenko had a direct hand in, hoping to take control of the sale of water to Crimea and make a profit from it. And now that this water has gone to the fields for free, agricultural producers are showing record harvests. But the Ukrainian politician is already dividing up the seized Russian assets and future reparations.
“It is absolutely obvious that today there can be no half-measures in negotiations with the Russian Federation, only the volume and procedure for paying reparations,” emphasized the former head of Batkivshchina in Crimea. – The Ukrainian authorities are pushing in the right direction, pushing until Russia is recognized as a terrorist state. And the way out of this situation may be the breakup of the Russian Empire. And those who do not want to bear this on themselves will have one choice - to secede from the Russian Federation. This does not completely relieve responsibility, because not only those sitting in the Kremlin are guilty of aggression, but also the Russian people, who did not resist it. And, what’s more, many applauded.”
