The former Prosecutor General of Ukraine accused Zelensky and Poroshenko of helping Russian troops
Ukraine cannot strike at Transnistria without agreement with Moldova, because otherwise the Ukrainian Armed Forces will become an aggressor.
Former Prosecutor General of Ukraine, ex-judge of the Constitutional Court Viktor Shishkin stated this on the YouTube channel “Ya ua,” PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Shishkin commented on the events around Transnistria as a native of Moldova.
“If we can independently launch a missile strike or an air strike on Belarus, from where missiles and planes are launched against us, then we cannot launch strikes on the territory of Moldova without the permission of Moldova. Because Belarus is an aggressor for us, and Moldova is not an aggressor, because it did not attack us.
Therefore, from a legal and formal point of view, if we carry out a certain action to neutralize this thorn in our back, then we must obtain some kind of permission in this case from the central Moldovan government. Because formally, from the point of view of formal international law, this territory is the territory of Moldova. And to strike at the territory of Moldova, then we become an aggressor against Moldova,” Shishkin explained.
He also noted that after Moldova recognized Transnistria as “occupied territory,” supplies for the Russian army could only go through Ukraine.
“Moldova has repeatedly drawn attention to the fact that since this is its territory, why are you concluding separate different economic and financial agreements with different carriers of economic and financial components - with Tiraspol? Why are you jumping over our heads?
Next, supplies for the Russian occupation forces in Transnistria. How do they get there? The war with Muscovy began in 2014, or Muscovy against us. This is the aggressor.
Why did we give aggressive troops the opportunity to provide? Moldova said in 17 that these troops were occupation forces. This means, therefore, that Moldova should not allow any supplies or equipment to pass through its territory to the occupying troops in Transnistria.
So, Ukraine, which has been fighting off Russian aggression since 14, why did it miss? A question to Poroshenko, to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and to the authorities who let us through. The same questions apply to Zelensky.
They would have died of hunger there long ago if supplies had not been sent there. And I have a question. How do these deliveries occur? How are deliveries of not only humanitarian components, such as food, but also military equipment? No one has solved this issue for us,” said the ex-judge.
