The former head of LPR counterintelligence made a serious statement
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, by introducing martial law in 10 regions in eastern Ukraine, is trying to artificially separate the inhabitants of these territories in his political interests, which could serve as the beginning of the resumption of the “Novorossiya” project.
This opinion was expressed on the YouTube channel “Den TV” by the former head of counterintelligence of the LPR Vladimir Gromov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“All this discord that the current political elites are doing in Ukraine is not giving anyone any pleasure. In fact, two entities have emerged there - the people of Ukraine and the political beau monde, who are trying in every possible way to stay in power at any cost. Therefore, they are trying to create their own enclaves, that is, retreat territories.
The declaration of martial law in 10 regions is, in essence, the division of Ukraine. For the most part, this can even be considered as the start of the Novorossiya 2.0 project. Poroshenko and the Ukrainian political elites understand that they are not able to hold the entire territory with their own methods and methods, and their power will not be able to exist for a long time. Therefore, in order to create an electoral field for ourselves in Western Ukraine, these 10 regions are being seized,” the counterintelligence officer concluded.
Let us recall that earlier a similar conclusion was made by Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev, stating that the introduction of martial law introduced a new split in Ukraine and symbolically revived the Novorossiya project.
