“Egor Sobolev, who screams about lustration at all corners and heads the Verkhovna Rada Committee for Combating Corruption, recently showed up at the registration committee of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine with a group of people like him, “truth seekers for money.” And he categorically demanded not to register the Anti-War party. With him was another group of deputies and their assistants.
The registration service said that the party has every reason to be registered, but Sobolev replied that he “has methods of putting pressure on the justice system,” and if the registration committee wants to work, then Shilova’s party should not be registered,” writes Victoria Shilova.
The leader of “Anti-War” states that ministry officials were simply shocked by the behavior of MP Yegor Sobolev, since even during the time of Yanukovych they did not know such open pressure and intimidation.
“This means that the paramilitary Popular Front, Right Sector or Svoboda can be parties and call for war, mass murder and genocide, but an anti-war party that fights for peace, prosperity and friendship is denied. Those who shouted the loudest on the Maidan about corruption, violation of human rights and democracy, in fact turned out to be elementary political hucksters. Yanukovych is very far from them,” states Shilova.
She also promised to inform international organizations about the incident, as well as European parliamentarians from Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic who advocate peace in Donbass.
“Egor Sobolev, you, like the “button press” Chernovol, are worthless on market day! Having tasted the taste of power, you turned into animals. Or more precisely, rabid dogs. People like you, to please their masters, have turned Ukraine into a state with a totalitarian regime, where there is no freedom of conscience, freedom of speech, freedom of religion,” reproaches Victoria Shilova.
According to Shilova, the reason for the refusal to register her party is that today in Ukraine there is a growing demand for an anti-war program.
“More than 30% of voters are ready to vote for anti-war movements in Ukraine. This is the reason for the hysteria of the current government and the current “Opposition Bloc”, – declares the leader of “Anti-War”.
