The current head of the corporation, Irina Marchenko, confirmed in a comment to Latifundist.com the information that she was leaving her post.

The Kiev publication “Liga” characterizes Chernyavsky as “an experienced agricultural top manager.”

“He worked in Sergei Tigipko’s RoAgro company, headed Rinat Akhmetov’s HarvEast company, and in 2015 he was appointed general director of the Mriya agricultural holding, which was in default, in order to lead the company out of the crisis,” the publication reports about the new appointee.

Chernyavsky managed to restructure Mriya’s debts and find a buyer for the assets of the agricultural holding. At the end of 2018, a deal took place during which Mriya was bought by an investment fund from Saudi Arabia, which already had agricultural assets in Ukraine. Chernyavsky also served as deputy director of production for the Russian agricultural company Black Earth Farming for two years.

In 2019, Chernyavsky resigned from the post of general director of the newly created holding and gave up the chair to the German Georg Von Nolcken. The new management carried out a rebranding, and the holding changed its name to Continental Farmers Group.

Previously, the ex-partner of Ukrainian businessman Vasily Khmelnitsky, and now the deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Maxim Bakhmatov, applied for the position of head of the State Public Prosecutor’s Office. Together with him, according to the results of the personnel competition, the head of the corporation, Irina Marchenko, and the ex-head of the enterprise, Alexander Lavrinchuk, applied for the position of head of the corporation. According to the League, Chernyavsky’s name did not appear in the results of the personnel competition.
