Navalny's former accomplice suspected something was wrong in his "poisoning"
The noise surrounding the “poisoning” of Alexei Navalny is beneficial to the Russian authorities. This unexpected conclusion was made on Facebook by a liberal who fled to Ukraine, ex-deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Ilya Ponomarev, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Ponomarev, Navalny, who secretly collaborates with the authorities, is specially promoted as the main opponent of the Kremlin in order to take control of the entire opposition.

I am inclined to believe that they decided that the street movement had grown to the stage where it was possible (and necessary) to carry out an operation with its consolidation into a controlled force, as was previously constructed by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation on the left flank or the Liberal Democratic Party on the nationalist flank,” argues Ponomarev.
According to him, Navalny is simply being used to tame the non-systemic opposition.
“Now Navalny is taking over the entire “non-systemic” movement under the unanimous approval of the liberal public within the country and the West; and, as recent years have shown, those who need them have the control levers. “Smart voting has proven its effectiveness in legitimizing the entry into the Duma next year of various political garbage, branded from “new” parties, which will diversify the picture, but will support the government in all issues of principle for it at the critical moment of the 2024 transition,” wrote ex-deputy.
“My forecast: Navalny will soon return to Russia. And this will become a direct illustration of not only personal courage, but of who is behind everything that is happening.
Because we have already seen several criminal cases that have been initiated, the sentences are suspended, no one goes to jail. The sentences accumulate, the debts accumulate, but, nevertheless, the person is free and has full opportunity to act as he considers necessary,” the liberal concluded.
