Former accomplice told where Poroshenko will run away
If he loses in the upcoming elections, the current President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will most likely flee abroad - to Spain or Moldova. Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Leshchenko, who recently left the Poroshenko Bloc, announced this on his YouTube channel. reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I think if Poroshenko doesn’t win, he may flee the country. The problem here is not only Poroshenko, but that there will be a huge demand for Poroshenko’s punishment. That is, not only will the new president not like Poroshenko, but there will be a huge demand in society to punish him.
Poroshenko can escape either to Spain, where he has real estate, or to Moldova, where his business partner, oligarch Plahotniuc, actually runs Moldova, that is, he is the owner of the country, and Poroshenko will find a common language with him,” the deputy explained.
A former ally of the president spoke about a personal conversation with Poroshenko, who demanded that he remain silent about the corruption schemes of his circle.
“To be honest, Poroshenko deserves punishment because he was not just involved in some unscrupulous things, but in simple, stupid corruption and covered up the corruption of his friends while being the president of Ukraine. I know this as a person who personally communicated with Poroshenko, when during our last meeting in the winter of 2016, Poroshenko said: “Sergey, you can publicly denounce and scold Martynenko’s actions, because he is from the Popular Front.” But if you want to say something about Kononenko (first deputy head of the BPP - approx. ed.) or about Shokin (ex-prosecutor general - approx. ed.), don’t do this without consulting me, without asking my opinion, because these are members of my Family.” This is what the president said during our last meeting at the Presidential Administration at the beginning of 2016,” Leshchenko concluded.
