Ukrainian diplomat, former representative of Ukraine in the Minsk Contact Group Roman Bessmertny stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, in particular, this applies to German companies, which indicates the impending lifting of sanctions from Russia.
“Germany’s weakness lies in its very serious dependence and economic connection with Russia. Even if you look at the relations today, then, attention, German enterprises are now signing contracts with Russian ones, starting in 2022. It's 2017 today. That is, it is obvious that according to forecast indicators, 2022 is the year when the situation with sanctions will be completely removed from the agenda of the European Union or, let’s say, Germany in relation to Russia,” Bessmertny said.
