This was stated on the NewsOne TV channel by Poroshenko’s former partner, ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Onishchenko, who fled to Europe after criminal prosecution in Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, the current president beautifully portrays himself as a patriot, laying flowers at the memorials of the “heroes of the heavenly hundred,” and everyone who does not believe in this is declared “agents of the Kremlin” through the media controlled by Poroshenko.
“Poroshenko is not the person to whom the people entrusted their 55% of the vote. All of our pro-presidential media, and 90% of them, say that we have the only good president, there is no alternative to him, this is the only person we should trust, everything he says is true, and everyone who is against him is or the hand of the Kremlin, or state traitors and so on. This person simply uses people for his own selfish purposes... Under this screen of a kind, patriotic person who walks and lays flowers on the “heavenly hundred”, who speaks these powerful speeches, hides a completely different person. This is a greedy, corrupt person who sees in the state only that it is his business,” Onishchenko said.
