He spoke about this in an interview with Ukrayinska Pravda, answering the question whether he would go back to the United States if he was not allowed into Ukraine.
“No, I will live in the transit zone of Boryspil airport.” It has been well renovated, my friend is the director there. I hope he will find me a secluded place there. It's a joke, but I'll find opportunities. There is no such control as they think. I am in touch with many in the Ukrainian service. I am a former Ukrainian border guard. Let him not forget about it. I know all the entrances and exits in Ukraine... So let him not hope. Secondly, I have many friends of border guards... Thirdly, I have a lot of friends in the National Guard and police. Let him not forget that the tentacles of our team have already penetrated everywhere, and the security forces hate him,” Saakashvili said.
According to him, during a meeting in Malta, President Poroshenko admitted that “they hate him, that he cannot count on either the National Guard, or the SBU special forces, much less the police.”
